Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to UMT students aspiring for admission to Ivy League and Russell Group universities.
Guide students in selecting suitable postgraduate programs based on academic profiles, career goals, and admission competitiveness.
Assist students in preparing strong applications, including reviewing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation, and CVs.
Advise on requirements for standardised tests (e.g., GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS) and scholarship opportunities (e.g., Fulbright, Chevening, Rhodes).
Establish and maintain relationships with graduate admissions offices of leading universities globally.
Serve as UMT’s point of contact for institutions offering postgraduate opportunities to UMT graduates.
Identify high-potential UMT students early through close collaboration with academic departments.
Coordinate with faculty to recommend top students for graduate admissions mentoring.
Maintain an up-to-date database of students applying to international postgraduate programs and track application outcomes.
Provide periodic progress reports and success statistics to the Director of Internationalization and Outreach.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized international or Pakistani university (preferably in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or Social Sciences).
At least 3–5 years of experience in university admissions counseling, international education, or academic advising.
Familiarity with postgraduate admissions processes for Ivy League and Russell Group universities.
Excellent English language communication and editing skills.
